Discovery Concert

Discovery Concerts LexPhil’s Discovery Concerts give thousands of students across the Bluegrass the opportunity to attend a professional orchestral performance that is not only educational but fun! This season’s Discovery Concerts will take place on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the Lexington Opera House with a presentation of Voices of America, combining musical ideas with the powerful impact of stories.

The LexPhil Discovery Concerts utilize a cross-curricular view tying into the Kentucky Department of Education Program Review demonstrators and the KDE Program of Studies. Education Guides with lesson plans and activity ideas will be available online in August.
